Morning!

Morning guys! Just a small post before I get up and start getting ready to pop out for few errands. I finally have my camera working again, so woop woop and score 1 for me. Another woop woop? There is a high chanc my dear ol' stepdad will be back in time for Christmas!! BIGGER WOOP WOOP!

Now, in all seriousness, back to the topic at hand.........................................................WOOP WOOP!

Will be spending today watching some anime with my favourite housemate and eating bento. Who made octodogs? This guy ^^

I also re-did my nails last night and so far so good; no burning desire to rip them off and stomp on them.

That's about it for now, I'm afraid. I do have the link for the newest issue of Vivi and a few other tidbits in my proper post for later on today, but I'm a sadist that enjoys making people wait! Muahahahahahaha.....ha.

Popsister November 2011

Hey guys, just a post with the download link for the new Popsister. Saturday has a small shopping trip planned and I also have a few DIY projects that I'm working on that I'll have to take a few pictures of when I get the chance! But I will be honest, I won't be showing any face images for at least a week; my Mum bought a new brand of washing powder (that I wasn't aware of) and it's disagreed with me TERRIBLY. My skin is currently reminiscent of red scales and very itchy.

I haven't had a chance to do more than flick through a few pages, but it certainly looks promising! Download the issue HERE.

The latest season of AMC's Breaking Bad has also started to wrap up and it's freaking amazing! Watching right now and Walt is just....going insane lol. But more of that later on.

Long Time No See!

Afternoon everyone, just another small one from me today. I've been quite boring the last few days and grumpy, so it's meant holing up in my bedroom like a hermit reading fan fiction and watching Kirarin Revolution. Oh, my teachers would be so proud if they could have witnessed it. I did leave the house on Wednesday to visit my BFF Elfy, who was getting micro bead hair extensions put into her hair. While she dropped a few hundred bucks that day, I went home and ebay'ed the same extensions (to DIY is less than $100 for human hair) and Youtube'ed how to put them in. Guess who has an activity for next week? This girl!

But in happier news, I was able to get my hands on the download link for the new issue of Japanese Seventeen. I've never actually read the Japanese version (I'm subscribed to the US one, however) but the 2 uniformed girls on the front swayed me. Virtually flicking through it, it's a school special from the looks (which I love, cause although I'm not in high school, I still use stationery and such for uni) with uniforms, bags etc. Seeing the emphasis placed on uniforms and uniform inspired garments is also interesting, as quite a few school in Tokyo no longer have policies regarding school uniform. I've 'read' a CUTiE magazine school special and its helpful for everyday hair ideas, as these girls aren't trying to be kogal/gyaru, just everyday schoolgirls. A definate refresher from the dolly-eyed, bleached girls of EGG and Ranzuki.

Daily Tidbits:
- Not finding the download links for the October issue of Popteen is making me pull my hair out! Mizukitty is on the front cover.............ARGGGGGHHHHH.
- Strangly enough, I've started to eat more  and I've somehow lost weight? Not sure how my body is doing it but good body <3
- I tacked a new sign to our toilet door:

 Please note this toilet is no longer a properly functioning entrance to the Ministry of Magic due to plumbing issues.'

- This sign was then tragically torn to shreds by my dear little kitten, who promptly coughed it up with a hairball on the carpet.

- As my revenge, he will be dressing as an anime cat butler for Halloween.

- Been listening to Chris Brown's Yeah x3 in bouts of 3.

That's about all for today, guys. I won't have an uploaded images of my own until Monday at least, as my housemate left for the weekend and took her camera batteries back :(

Mini Break!

Hey guys, just a quick shout out for now. The next few days are looking really hectic and I've also started to watch a new anime. So for now, I'm taking a mini break from blogging (as it was always so strenuous, hihi :P) and I'll be back with a good post!

Nails!

Hey guys! Just wanted to do a blog post today on NAILS!

I've been a nail biter for most of my entire life and have relied on things such as press ons and gel nails the last few years. As I became more into Japanese pop culture and fashion, I became aware of such things like decoden and nail bling. Every year there is a nail expo in Tokyo full of designs, new innovations etc. There are magazines JUST for nail decorations (all in Japanese of course, but the pictures provide kore than enough!) and small gadgets to help make everyday living easier for the nail wearer.

I'm currently in the midst of re-arranging my room, so I'll try and hunt down batteries later on and take some images! Oh and I'm also typing out a small product review to post later on as well.
